Hans is a Software Developer with 20+ years of experience in multi-threaded event driven applications, complemented with broad experience in Object Oriented Design,
Design Patterns, C++ (C++11/14), STL and Boost libraries. Additional language abilities in C#, F#, Python, Asp.Net. Multi-platform experience gained on Unix, Linux, and Windows.
In his latest role as VP Software Developer and Team Leader at MarkitServ he was involved in the development of post trade solutions for Regulatory Reporting, Clearing workflows and Swaps Execution Facilities.
Most recently he found cloud based web services, mobile apps, IoT, NoSQL, web crawling, etc. massively interesting and took ‘some time off’ to get hands-on with these technologies and acquire new skills.
Thereby ‘reserving the right to play’ as a state of the art developer for the next 20 years.
The products of his recent developments are a fully compliant XMPP library for mobile apps built on Xamarin.Forms which will shortly be for sale on this site,
and a survey analytics website Haszit.com based on ASP.Net Core hosted on Azure and supported by backend big-data tools such as DocumentDB and NoSQL.
A proven track record of pushing the boundaries of technology, with two patents to his name.
He likes working with team members “in the trenches” mentoring them in the soft skills essential for bridging the gap between technology/implementation and business requirements/delivery.
